In order to better serve women's employment and further build a two-way choice platform for recruiting and seeking jobs, some Wanda Plazas nationwide cooperated with local human resources and social welfare departments, women's federations, employing units and other organizations to build supply-and-demand platforms and held dozens of special recruitment sessions for women between March 3 and March 8, providing tens of thousands of jobs, with more than 1,000 people reaching agreements on the spot.
The women's recruitment sessions are part of the "2023 Wanda Spring Breeze Action Work Plan". According to the Plan, this year, Wanda will not only provide jobs directly through the development of its commercial business, but also set up service platforms in various ways to help employers in their recruitment work, with 300 "Wanda Public Welfare Job Fairs" planned to be held throughout the year, and 300,000 jobs released.
More Than 1,000 People Reaching Employment Intentions on the Spot
As the first Wanda Plaza to hold a women's job fair, Beijing Huairou Youth Wanda Plaza held a women's job fair, "Spring Breeze Sends Jobs, Waiting for 'Her'", in the afternoon of March 3, outside the Gate 1 of Beijing Huairou Youth Wanda Plaza. The job fair was jointly organized by Wanda, Huairou Women's Federation, Huairou Federation of Trade Unions, Huairou Judicial Bureau, and Women's Employment Association, with a total of more than 60 enterprises participating and providing nearly 200 positions. On that day, many female job seekers were attracted to consult and apply for jobs on the spot, with a total of 545 people registering for jobs and 265 people reaching employment intentions.
On March 4, the job fair in Wanda Plaza in Linqu, Weifang was one of the largest in terms of the number of jobs offered, attracting more than 110 enterprises and institutions to participate in the event and providing more than 3,000 jobs. In the job fair, Tik Tok people were also invited to make on-site "live broadcasting with jobs", and over 550 people finally reached a preliminary employment intention.
From March 3 to 8, dozens of women-specific job fairs organized by Wanda Plaza attracted the participation of more than 400 employers, providing about 10,000 jobs, covering a wide range of industries such as Internet, logistics and express delivery, machinery manufacturing, real estate, education and training, supermarkets, household, new energy, catering and hotels, etc. The actual results showed that more than 1,000 people were employed in the job fairs, and many other applicants submitted their resumes via the Internet.
In addition to providing jobs, a major highlight during the event was the attention paid to the protection of women's rights and interests, as well as the publicity and consultation on legal awareness.
Beijing Huairou Youth Wanda Plaza invited lawyers from the district Federation of Trade Unions and the district Judicial Bureau to give one-on-one answers to the problems encountered by many female job seekers in the workplace and in their lives, and to publicize the legal system with respect to the Women's Rights Protection Act and other legal knowledge.

Huanggang Wanda Plaza and the city's Women's Federation organized the "Women's Health Action", distributing women's health information and providing health advice to the public.
Xuzhou Jiawang Wanda Plaza set up a special seat for the Women's Federation to publicize and implement the Anti-Domestic Violence Law and the Regulations on the Protection of Female Workers and Employees, to protect the legitimate rights and interests of women and children.
200,000 New Service Industry Jobs Planned, Multi-pronged Approach to Stabilize Employment
According to the new employment data of Wanda Group announced in 2022, the company added 201,000 service industry jobs in the year, including more than 102,000 college students, exceeding Wanda's annual employment target, which is also the second consecutive year for Wanda Group to achieve the goal of adding more than 200,000 new jobs.
In 2023, Wanda launched the "Spring Breeze Action Work Plan" to continue to provide a large number of jobs. The goal of the Plan is to open 60 new Wanda Plazas, 33 hotels, 98 cinemas and 70 Wanda Kids stores throughout the year, which will create about 200,000 new service industry jobs, including about 100,000 for college students.
Wanda will also fully exploit the advantages of Wanda Plaza's location and passenger flow, linking up with the government and all walks of life to organize 300 Wanda public welfare job fairs throughout the year, releasing 300,000 jobs.
Meanwhile, relying on 100 "Wanda Employment Service Centers", while actively helping merchants to recruit, Wanda will also provide free vocational skills training and vocational experience sharing activities for people employed in Wanda Plazas, so as to improve their vocational skills and employment stability.
In terms of promoting the employment of college students, Wanda will directly recruit 1,000 Wanda management trainees "Wan Freshmen" through campus recruiting in 2023, and provide internship positions for more than 50,000 college students.
